Job Title: Maintenance Surveyor
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Surveyor to join our team at Reed Property & Construction. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the Asset Management Programme, Building and resident Health and Safety, and Maintenance administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Asset Management Programme, ensuring compliance with health and safety legislative practice applicable to Social Housing properties.
- Undertake Stock Condition Surveys and take lead on Capital Works projects, including refurbishments of internal and external domestic properties.
- Manage and take part in the Maintenance emergency service, liaising with tenants and contractors to ensure works are completed to specified time frames.
- Liaise with the Senior Management in planning, managing, and monitoring the Asset Management and Maintenance budget.
Requirements:
- Experienced in Property Management and Maintenance.
- Understanding of current health and safety and housing legislation.
- Good telephone manner and positive attitude.
- Knowledge of the local area is helpful.
- Full UK driving licence.
What We Offer:
Located at our prestigious office in London's iconic Canary Wharf Tower, with the stock being around the Tower Hamlets area. We offer a competitive salary of £50,000 to £55,000, plus full BUPA health service and 25 days a year holiday rising to 28 after 3 years' service, on-site free gym, and more.
