About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Flood Risk Consultant to join our team at Pertemps TM. As a Flood Risk Consultant, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients navigate the complexities of flood risk management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clients to deliver effective flood risk management solutions
  • Attend design meetings to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Manage projects independently, overseeing design and implementation
  • Communicate with local authorities to ensure seamless project execution
  • Conduct site visits to assess flood risk and develop mitigation strategies
Requirements
  • Hold a degree in Civil Engineering, Geography, Environmental Science, or a related field
  • Have 1-3 years of post-graduate experience in a consultancy setting
  • Proven expertise in flood risk management, sustainable drainage strategies, and private sector developments
  • Familiarity with SuDS standards and relevant software such as GIS and AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of the UK planning process for new developments, energy, and regeneration projects
