About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Spanish language educator to join our team at a prestigious school in Westminster. As a Spanish teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the language learning journey of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lesson Planning and Delivery: Develop and deliver engaging Spanish language lessons that cater to the school's curriculum guidelines, ensuring students' progress and achievement.
  • Student Progress and Feedback: Monitor and assess students' progress, providing constructive feedback to help them improve their language skills.
  • Classroom Environment: Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for Spanish language learning.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other Spanish teachers and colleagues to share best practices, resources, and ideas.
  • Record Keeping and Communication: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students' progress and attendance, communicating regularly with parents and stakeholders to discuss students' development and any concerns.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  • Experience: Proven experience teaching Spanish to students in primary or secondary levels.
  • Language and Cultural Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the Spanish language and culture.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Organizational and Time Management Skills: Well-organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility: Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work Permit or Visa: Valid work permit or visa to work in the UK.
