Patent Litigation Senior Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled 7+ years PQE Intellectual Property lawyer to join our esteemed Intellectual Property team at Pinsent Masons in London.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, preferably in a scientific discipline, and a passion for gaining experience in patent litigation, including oppositions before the European Patent Office.
As a key member of our team, you will have significant independent interaction with clients and contribute to our business development efforts. You will also have the opportunity to work with a highly respected and experienced IP team that advises a wide range of life sciences, blue chip technology, manufacturing, and retail companies on business-critical IP litigation.
Our team has a strong track record of handling complex IP disputes, including precedent-setting actions before the High Court, Court of Appeal, Supreme Court, and CJEU. We are also developing a strong pan-EU offering in respect of the Unified Patent Court (UPC).
As a Patent Litigation Senior Associate, you will be part of a standalone, unitary IP team that services its own clients as well as those of the wider firm. You will advise clients on freedom to operate, strategic business-critical litigation, managing their intellectual property, and optimizing their returns and investment.
