A prestigious international banking institution is seeking a junior banking professional fluent in Japanese to join their London team.

This role primarily focuses on extending credit facilities to corporations and delivering comprehensive corporate banking solutions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for nurturing and enhancing relationships with Japanese clientele across Europe, while actively seeking out business prospects, particularly in the realm of corporate banking services, which includes loans, foreign exchange, trade finance, cash management, and deposits. Essentially, this position is centered around sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster relationships with current clients and assess credit and ongoing business circumstances.
  • Gather and evaluate client-related data, collaborating with various departments within the bank, including the headquarters, to devise solutions that align with client requirements.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, promoting the bank's and its affiliates' offerings.
  • Provide credit and administrative assistance for loans, foreign exchange transactions, deposits, and fund transfers.

Compensation: Salary range is £50K - £68K, contingent upon experience.
