We are pleased to present an opportunity for the role of Child Protection Nursing Expert within our organization.
The successful candidate will serve as a key resource within HCRG Care Group, collaborating with managers and healthcare professionals across various disciplines to provide specialized guidance, ensuring the effective provision of clinical services in line with contractual obligations and relevant regulations.
This role involves working alongside the Safeguarding Named Nurse to facilitate a robust support system in their area of expertise and assist teams in delivering high-quality care. The individual may also oversee a designated team.
Work Environment
The primary location for this position is flexible, with a combination of remote work and on-site responsibilities. Some travel may be necessary within the designated region.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to a team dedicated to providing exceptional safeguarding services to colleagues in child and family wellbeing.
- Exercise autonomy in making complex decisions related to the area of expertise while identifying and managing associated risks.
- Support the enhancement of performance across all clinical and non-clinical services within the organization, particularly in the relevant subject area.
- Champion quality improvement initiatives across all service domains.
- Monitor and collaborate with service leaders to enhance contractual key performance indicators related to the area of focus.
- Lead specific projects as directed by the Safeguarding Named Nurse.

Ideal Candidate Profile
- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council, with a degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated interest and experience in Child Protection.
- Experience in mentorship and potential teaching qualifications.
- Familiarity with safeguarding supervision skills.
