About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Occupational Health Physician to join our team at Medway NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Occupational Health Service, you will play a vital role in promoting the health, safety, and wellbeing of our staff and patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical advice and guidance on occupational health matters to managers and staff
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legislative requirements and best practice
  • Conduct fitness for work assessments, medicals, and other occupational health-related activities
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure cohesive working and effective communication
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of business plans and strategies to improve occupational health services
Requirements
  • Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
  • On Specialist Register (Occupational Medicine) or a Specialist Registrar with CCST due within 6 months of interview date
  • MFOM or equivalent
  • Evidence of CPD and membership of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine
