Your Role: Enhancing Guest Comfort

As a vital member of our housekeeping team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that every guest enjoys a clean and welcoming atmosphere. Your commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards is essential for fostering a positive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly cleaning and preparing guest rooms between check-ins and check-outs, ensuring a fresh and inviting atmosphere.
  • Maintaining cleanliness in shared facilities, including bathrooms and communal areas, to guarantee a safe and pleasant stay for all visitors.
  • Keeping reception and social spaces tidy and welcoming, contributing to an overall positive guest experience.
  • Efficiently performing housekeeping duties while adhering to established cleanliness standards, proactively identifying areas for improvement.
  • Following YHA guidelines for the use and storage of cleaning supplies, supporting our commitment to environmental sustainability.
  • Reporting maintenance issues or damages to management, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for guests.
  • Managing linen distribution and organization, playing a key role in guest comfort and satisfaction.

Skills and Experience We Value

While prior experience in customer service or hospitality roles is advantageous, it is not mandatory. We value diverse backgrounds and experiences, as they contribute to our inclusive team culture.

Strong communication skills and effective time management are essential for success in this role. Familiarity with YHA's core values and teamwork experience are beneficial.
