Locum Consultant Cardiologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Cardiologist to join our team at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will have a specialist interest in pacing and complex devices, and will be responsible for providing a high-quality service to patients with cardiac rhythm disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert pacing services to patients, including the implantation of pacemakers and other cardiac devices.
- Work closely with other consultants and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care for patients with complex cardiac conditions.
- Participate in regular clinical meetings and other post-graduate activities to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in cardiology.
- Contribute to the teaching and audit activities of the department, including the supervision of junior doctors and medical students.
- Attend regular meetings with cardiothoracic colleagues at Papworth and participate in implementing Clinical Governance programs.
- Full GMC with Licence to Practice and entry on the GMC Specialist Register.
- Independent Pacing and Complex Pacing operator.
- Experience in subcutaneous ICD and leadless pacing (desirable).
- Additional training in heart failure, imaging or electrophysiology (desirable).
