Job Title: Speech and Language Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Jupiter Recruitment. As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing expert care to individuals with communication disorders.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a degree in Speech and Language Therapy and be registered with the HCPC. You will be responsible for managing complex cases, cultural and linguistic differences, and generating strategies to support individuals with communication disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and treat individuals with communication disorders, including those with swallowing difficulties
  • Contribute to the assessment and information-gathering regarding service users' mental capacity and ability to give informed consent
  • Assist service users to maximise their independence in decision-making and communicating their wishes
Requirements:
  • Experience of managing a caseload involving assessment and treatment of Dysphagia
  • Experience of working with families and individuals with learning disabilities
  • Evidence of continuing Professional Development
  • Able to show a can-do attitude and work collaboratively as part of a team
What We Offer:
  • An excellent salary of £42,000 per annum
  • A permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours a week
