About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced retail professional to join our team as an Assistant Store Manager. As a key member of our store team, you will play a vital role in driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and promoting the work of YMCA England & Wales in your local community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain a high-performing store team, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and sales results.
  • Develop and implement effective merchandising and visual display strategies to maximize sales and drive customer engagement.
  • Monitor and control stock levels, ensuring accurate inventory management and minimizing waste.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to set and achieve sales targets, and implement strategies to drive business growth.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of store policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.

Requirements:

Proven experience in a retail management role, with a strong track record of sales growth and customer satisfaction.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.A passion for retail and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
