About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced retail professional to join our team as an Assistant Store Manager. As a key member of our store team, you will play a vital role in driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and contributing to the overall success of our charity retail operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Store Manager in leading the store team to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction
- Develop and implement effective merchandising and visual display strategies to drive sales and improve store appearance
- Manage stock levels, including ordering, receiving, and rotating stock to ensure optimal inventory levels
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
- Deputise for the Store Manager as required, taking responsibility for the store in their absence

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in a retail management role, preferably in a charity or not-for-profit environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers
- Strong merchandising and visual display skills, with the ability to create engaging and effective displays
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays
