The Role: Transaction Manager - Volkswagen Gatwick

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Transaction Manager to join our successful Volkswagen dealership in Gatwick. Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and compliant sales processes, maximizing customer satisfaction, and driving revenue growth.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the sale of vehicles, finance products, insurance packages, warranties, and additional services, adhering to all Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulations and guidelines.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to a team of Sales Executives, fostering a culture of compliance and best practices while promoting sales performance.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to close vehicle deals effectively and obtain accurate valuations for part exchanges.
  • Prepare comprehensive monthly reports on finance and insurance sales performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for Sales Executives, enhancing their knowledge of finance and insurance products and processes.

Your Profile:

  • Proven experience as a Transaction Manager or Business Manager within the automotive industry, ideally with a focus on Volkswagen.
  • A strong understanding of FCA regulations and compliance requirements in relation to finance and insurance sales.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills, with the ability to build rapport and motivate a team.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
  • A proactive and results-oriented individual with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
