Job Title: AWS Software Development Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Software Development Engineer to join our Product Engineering team at Automata. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and efficient software systems on AWS.

About the Role
  • Design and develop cloud-native applications using AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, and S3.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize features and technical requirements.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality, testable, and efficient code using Python, Go, and other relevant programming languages.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Work closely with technical leadership to drive technical direction and architecture decisions.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on cloud computing and AWS.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality software systems on time and within budget.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with event-driven systems, data-intensive systems, and feature flags is a plus.
