Job Summary:
Advanced Resource Managers is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to support the industrialisation of high-reliability electronic and electro-mechanical products. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and supporting the delivery of CAPEX projects, providing manufacturing engineering support for NPI projects, and participating in Continuous Improvement events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead or Support CAPEX Projects: Deliver CAPEX projects on time and within budget, support problem-solving and TPM events to improve production efficiency, and be a go-to point of contact for engineering support.
- Manufacturing Engineering Support: Provide manufacturing engineering support for NPI projects, including specific Pro-Launch tasks assigned.
- Lead and Support CAPEX Projects: Lead and support others to deliver CAPEX projects, including smaller projects such as purchasing a 3D printer or buying a fully automated assembly machine with integrated testers.
- Factory Layout Changes: Be responsible for all factory layout changes, maintaining an up-to-date layout in CAD.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate or lead Continuous Improvement events, such as Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and problem-solving, and provide manufacturing engineering knowledge to solve problems and drive efficiency.
- Machine Guarding and Electrical Tester Remediation: Support machine guarding and electrical tester remediation tasks.
- Robot Programming: Support and develop multi-axis ABB robot programming, especially on the UAC cell, optimising Cellular Manufacturing efficiency.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Ideally BEng in Engineering/Manufacturing (Minimum HND).
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Project Management: Experience managing Capital projects.
- Electrical Knowledge: Electrical knowledge including PLC would be advantageous.
- Project Management Training: PMI Project management training would be beneficial.
Skills:
- AutoCAD Inventor: Proficient AutoCAD Inventor user.
- Project Management: Strong and proven project management skills.
- Microsoft Office: Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
