About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Older Adult Rapid Intervention and Treatment Team in Pennine (East) Lancashire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing specialist psychological assessment, formulation, and intervention to older adults with complex mental health difficulties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and indirect psychological assessment, formulation, and intervention
  • Consultation and training of psychology and non-psychology colleagues
  • Supervision of psychology and non-psychology colleagues
  • Participation in the development and implementation of psychological services for older adults
Requirements
  • Doctoral level training in clinical psychology or equivalent
  • Experience of specialist psychological assessment and treatment of patients across a range of care settings
  • Well-developed skills in communicating complex information to clients, families, carers, and professional colleagues
  • Formal training in supervision of other psychologists
