Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a Senior Project Management Leader to join our team on a permanent basis. This role is pivotal as we expand our operations and take on new projects across various regions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the site delivery team, which includes Site Managers, Foremen, Gangers, Machine Operators, and Operatives.
  • Oversee the efficient and safe execution of projects, ensuring profitability and adherence to project objectives.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, managing their expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with different departments and stakeholders to ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, and value are met.
  • Simultaneously manage multiple high-risk and complex projects, including those under framework agreements.
  • Ensure projects are completed within budget, on schedule, and to the required quality standards while addressing safety and environmental considerations.
  • Conduct project close-out activities, including the settlement of final accounts.
  • Act as the Contractor under relevant contracts, ensuring effective management for maximum value delivery.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Significant experience in managing multiple complex projects within the civil engineering discipline.
  • Proven track record of overseeing projects valued at £2 million and above.
  • Expertise in managing Design & Build projects throughout their lifecycle.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
  • Excellent commercial acumen with a history of delivering profitable projects.
  • Experience in risk management and mitigation strategies.
  • Proficient in business applications and software relevant to project management.
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel as required.
