{"Job Title": "Clinical Director", "Job Summary": "We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Director to lead our nursing team at MCG Healthcare. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Develop and implement nursing protocols and policies in conjunction with the management team
* Supervise and assess the performance of the nursing team, ensuring a high standard of care and personal development
* Identify gaps in the nursing team's skill set and ensure staff are upskilled and trained accordingly
* Ensure resilience within the nursing team in case of emergencies
* Support the recruitment, selection, and retention of nursing staff
* Provide clinical supervision to other members of the practice nursing team
* Identify, assess, and manage patients with complex health needs
* Continually review clinical practices and respond to national policies and initiatives
* Provide routine nursing care to patients as required
* Participate in local initiatives to enhance service delivery and patient care
* Develop, implement, and embed health promotion and well-being programs
* Co-ordinate the provision of travel medicine services
* Lead the child immunisation clinic and work with the nursing team to ensure a robust recalling system
* Identify health trends and public health issues and work with the team to combat these
* Work with public health initiatives to ensure the work of the team is up to date
