Role Purpose:
We are seeking a dedicated Support Officer to join our Delivery, Support, and Assurance Team on a permanent basis. This role is integral to assisting our Project Managers in executing projects for both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the accurate and timely billing processes.
- Set up suppliers and contractors efficiently in our management system.
- Issue contracts to contingent resources, ensuring all documentation is correctly filed and updated.
- Manage and prioritize cases in the ticketing system according to account significance.
- Ensure all cases meet required outcomes and adhere to service level agreements.
- Follow established business processes to maintain project delivery standards.
- Support project and delivery managers during the month-end financial processes.
- Gather and analyze data for project managers to aid in decision-making.
- Facilitate the onboarding of resources and ensure smooth project mobilization.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure its availability for audits and reviews.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Experience in project management office (PMO) administration or support.
- Proficiency in Excel and project management software.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to influence stakeholders effectively.
- Experience in a dynamic business environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Salesforce and project accounting.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Prince 2 or APM certification.
- Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
