Position: Field Service Engineer

Join the innovative team at Global Recruitment Group as a Field Service Engineer, contributing to the remarkable achievements in Robotic Automation.

The selected candidate will play a vital role in supporting the company's ongoing expansion by responding to customer service requests, conducting regular maintenance, and collaborating with fellow Field Engineers on various installations.


Compensation:
£25,000.00-£50,000.00 annually (dependent on experience) plus additional earnings for on-call duties.

The ideal applicant will be a driven problem solver, capable of working independently. As a proactive individual, you will coordinate with the Field Operations Manager to effectively manage your schedule.

As a Field Service Engineer, your base will be at the Bellshill office, and you will travel to client locations as needed to install, maintain, and repair equipment.

Comprehensive training on our products will be provided, along with additional manufacturer-specific training as required.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Build, install, and support our innovative products
  • Deliver exceptional client service
  • Participate in an on-call rota for after-hours support
  • Maintain a professional demeanor in all communications
  • Provide timely updates on progress or delays to the Field Operations Manager
  • Complete and submit necessary documentation, including risk assessments and work reports

Qualifications:
  • A formal engineering qualification or HNC/HND level education, or 2 years of field service experience
  • Experience in electrical installation (18th Edition qualification preferred; PASMA and IPAF certifications are a plus)
  • Proficient with tools and possess strong computer skills
  • Quick thinker with effective problem-solving abilities
  • Organized with keen attention to detail
  • Excellent time management capabilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Passionate about providing outstanding customer service
  • Valid UK driver's license
  • Willingness to travel within the UK and occasionally internationally
