HR GO Recruitment is actively looking for a Financial Assistance Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will engage with clients who have not fulfilled their payment obligations related to their Hire Purchase agreements.
Your role will involve evaluating each client's situation individually to ensure optimal outcomes are reached. When feasible, you will negotiate payment plans or arrangements to help clients bring their accounts up to date.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Engage with clients who have missed their payment deadlines, providing support to help them rectify their agreements.
2. Conduct thorough reviews of client agreements to fully understand their circumstances, ensuring all prior communications and arrangements are considered.
3. Regularly assess repayment plans to ensure they align with the client's current situation.
4. Identify and assist clients who may be in vulnerable situations.
5. Communicate clearly and fairly with clients, both verbally and in writing.
6. Complete all agreed actions within the specified timeframes to enhance the customer experience.
7. Where appropriate, refer clients to relevant non-profit organizations for additional support and guidance.
8. Strive to meet daily and monthly performance targets, both individually and as part of a team.
9. Adhere to regulatory standards and ensure fair treatment of clients.
10. Report any procedural or departmental risks in accordance with company protocols.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Previous experience in a call center or collections environment (preferred), with comprehensive training provided.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Basic IT proficiency.
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Team-oriented with a positive outlook.
• Adaptable and flexible in approach.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines.
This role is primarily office-based in Chester Business Park, with the possibility of remote work on Saturday mornings following initial training. Please note that this position will require a DBS and Credit Check.
