Job Title: A&E General Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Devon Partnership NHS Trust.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality care to individuals with mental health needs.

As a Registered Mental Health Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing care needs, developing and implementing individual care plans, and promoting quality of service provision.

You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver a package of care that supports individuals on their road to recovery.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assess care needs and develop individual care plans
  • Implement and evaluate care plans to ensure high-quality service provision
  • Manage the unit in the absence of the Ward Manager/Team Leader
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience of adult and/or older persons mental health nursing and the nursing process
  • Experience of working with people with a diagnosis of dementia
  • RMN/Registered Nurse (Mental Health) with current registration
  • A willingness to complete Trust Mandatory Courses
  • Knowledge of the Mental Health Act 1987 and the Mental Capacity Act
