Microsoft Security Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Security Specialist to join our team at Serco. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will play a critical role in enhancing our Microsoft Security capabilities and maximizing the value we get from our investment in Microsoft Security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and mature the Microsoft Security capability across Serco
- Enhance existing Security controls and develop a roadmap for enhancements and improvements, aligned to our Security Strategy and Microsoft's Security development roadmap
- Optimize configurations, leveraging Microsoft Security products to maintain and improve our Security posture, ensure best practice, and drive effectiveness and efficiency across the Cyber Security tower
- Provide technical support and expertise to other teams, including Security Operations and Operational Support teams
- Be the Technical Subject Matter Expert for Microsoft Security tools within Security and the wider organisation
- Work closely and collaboratively with Security teams and functions as required
- Be 'Hands on' when required to implement changes and improvements within the tools
- Adhere to Serco's governance processes, including creation of Design documentation, Standards and Guidance
- Provide elements of support and expertise to other non-Microsoft tools where required
Requirements:
- Microsoft Security expertise, with a current and technical understanding of all Microsoft security tools, including Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Azure Services, and Legacy Microsoft products
- Background in Information Technology and/or Cyber Security tools, with a minimum 3 years' experience working with Microsoft Security products in either an implementation or advance technical support role
- Intermediate level Security qualification (such as Security+, CYSA+ or equivalent), or working towards these qualifications
- Microsoft/Azure Security certification (such as AZ-) or equivalent
