Classroom Support is excited to be working with a Primary school in the Egham Hythe area who are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support their students.
We are recruiting on their behalf for a Learning Support Assistant to support their KS1 & KS2 pupils who exhibit challenging behaviour and have diagnoses of ASD & ADHD.
The school in question has fantastic support mechanisms and facilities for their staff, a wonderful and rewarding environment reflected in their Ofsted results.
A highly competitive rate of pay is offered for this Learning Support Assistant role, £85 - £95 per day, with working hours of 8.30am-3.30pm, Monday-Friday, term time only.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the child mainly on a 1:1 basis and occasionally in small groups.
- Utilize effective behaviour management techniques.
- Ensure all tasks delegated by the teacher are carried out in a positive manner.
- Previous experience of working in a classroom setting is required.
- A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification is beneficial but not essential.
- Participation in lunch-time cover is expected.
- Experience of running own interventions is advantageous.
