Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain a high level of clinical competence in Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) skills, including treatment cycle planning and coordination.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families, creating a therapeutic environment to meet their needs.
- Conduct patient consultations before, during, and after treatment cycles, ensuring accurate and empathetic communication.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and effective treatment outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to NMC regulations and standards.
- Liaise with General Practitioners and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment schedules, explaining potential side effects and demonstrating injection techniques as needed.
- Coordinate oocyte retrieval, embryo transfer, and intrauterine insemination procedures, ensuring precision and attention to detail.
- Interpret complex clinical information and data, anticipating potential problems and developing effective solutions.
- Ensure the maintenance of a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to COSHH, Infection Control, and Risk Management protocols.
- Participate in the resolution of complaints and grievances, working collaboratively with senior nursing staff to ensure effective resolution.
