About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Education Support Specialist to join our team of professionals working in Secondary Schools across Greater Manchester.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and want to make a positive impact on student development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Classroom Support: Assist teachers in preparing and organizing the classroom for learning activities, ensuring a smooth and effective learning environment.
  • Literacy Support: Provide individualized support to students in literacy programs, helping them to improve their reading and writing skills.
  • Student Development: Offer one-on-one support to students as needed, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their academic goals.
  • Curriculum Implementation: Assist in the implementation of curriculum programs, ensuring that students receive a well-rounded education.
  • Behavior Management: Support teachers in maintaining a positive and respectful classroom environment, promoting good behavior and minimizing disruptions.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience working with KS3 and KS4 pupils, either in educational or youth settings.
  • Classroom Presence: Confident in managing classroom dynamics and adapting to different learning environments.
  • Passion for Education: Committed to nurturing student development and promoting learning.
  • UK School Experience: Familiarity with UK school environments is preferred.
