Disrepair Surveyor Job Opportunity

We are proud to be partnering with a reputable Housing Association in the East Midlands to appoint a Disrepair Surveyor on a temporary basis.

This is a full-time position with an hourly rate of up to £34 per hour on an Umbrella basis. The role is based on site/in the office five days per week, with the possibility of working from home once per week dependent on business need.

The ideal candidate will have experience completing disrepair inspections within social housing tenanted properties and hold a full UK Driving License.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Completing disrepair inspections and raising schedules of works
  • Working on a backlog of damp and mould inspections
  • Holding responsibility for the surveying and managing of the works process of the damp and mould services
  • Managing an end-to-end service for the damp and mould works, from surveying of customer's homes, arranging required works and post-works quality inspections
  • Instructing and managing the identified works within their financial sign-off, both utilising the internal repairs team and specialist contractors as required

Experience required in Social Housing, proven experience of completing disrepair inspections, and the ability to work with customers within housing are essential.
