Our client, AWC STAFF SERVICES LTD, is a leading provider of specialized services to the National Grid. Due to new contract awards, they are seeking a skilled Gate Engineer to join their team.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • As a Gate Systems Technician, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining automated gate systems to ensure compliance with BS EN 12453:2017 and DHF TS-013 standards.
  • You will work closely with the Automated Systems Manager to manage day-to-day site work, activities, and RHI site staff.
  • Additionally, you will be responsible for purchasing requirements for own RHI projects, ensuring a good standard of quality and efficiency, and reporting defects, snags, and complaints to the Automated Systems Manager.
  • Requirements:
  • A proven background in gate automation installation, service, or maintenance is essential.
  • You must have mechanical and electrical/electronic fault-finding skills, as well as competency in problem-solving and the ability to make diligent recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to liaise with clients' representatives and ensure that company management systems and processes are adhered to.
  • You will also be responsible for promoting good practice of material sustainability initiatives to reduce waste and save costs.
