Job Title: Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at SMART Education Recruitment. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and social development of pupils in primary schools across Birmingham.

Job Summary:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other educational professionals to provide support to pupils in the classroom. Your role will involve assisting with lesson planning, delivering small group work, and providing one-to-one support to pupils who require additional help.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist teachers with lesson planning and delivery
  • Provide small group work and one-to-one support to pupils
  • Support pupils with special educational needs
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
  • Level 3 qualification as a teaching assistant or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a teaching assistant in primary schools
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for working with children and supporting their educational journey
