Job Title: Manufacturing Site Manager

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Site Manager to join our team at McCarthy Recruitment. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing all on-site activities, including quality assurance, health and safety, production, and engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all on-site activities, including quality assurance, health and safety, production, and engineering.
  • Work closely with logistics and distribution to ensure seamless processes.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Lead and inspire a talented team, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency across all operations.
  • Control site budgets, deliver regular progress updates, and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure all site activities comply with safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
  • Lead, manage, and motivate site staff, including subcontractors, ensuring high levels of performance and productivity.
  • Develop and maintain project plans and schedules, ensuring milestones are met.
  • Monitor site progress, managing and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Collaborate with the project team, suppliers, and clients to resolve any issues, ensuring smooth project execution.
  • Prepare and maintain site documentation, including risk assessments, method statements, and safety reports.
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with regulatory and contractual obligations.
  • Conduct site audits and inspections, identifying areas for improvement in safety and operational practices.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Manufacturing or Production Site Manager in a similar field.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • A deep understanding of safety regulations, operational processes, and quality standards.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and cost control.
  • NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
