About the Role
The Leicestershire County Council is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic adult learning tutor to teach First Aid to adults across the county. As a First Aid Tutor, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality teaching and learning programs, creating engaging resources, and using teaching methods that cater to the needs of diverse learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Highfields Level 2 in First Aid at Work
- Plan and deliver teaching and learning programs that meet the needs of adult learners
- Create engaging resources and use effective teaching methods
- Complete mandatory training and paperwork associated with the courses delivered
Requirements
- A level 3 nationally approved teaching qualification or willingness to achieve this within a period of probation
- A relevant and approved subject qualification at the required level for the subject specialism (First Aid)
- Good functional skills (to at least NVQ Level 2 or above in Maths, English, and ICT)
- Ability to use ICT for professional communications and the adult learning platform (Virtual Learning Environment)
