Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Freight Operations Specialist to join our team at Reed. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our contracted customers and Programme Managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- To act as a focal point for maintenance requests received from contracted customers, ensuring these demands are raised in a timely manner and arranging shipment in accordance with the contractual service level.
- To be aware of and assist with the airline/customer daily operational demands process, alongside the fulfillment of customer requests in accordance with the contractual service level.
- To assist with any customer backlogs, either system or operational, ensuring customer delays are kept to a minimum while maintaining excellent communication with the customer.
- To investigate and resolve stock shortages, expediting repair/purchase orders and reviewing system alternatives to fulfill open demand.
- To communicate with freight forwarders and airlines to ensure timely shipment and updates.
- To provide 360 feedback to the Operations Specialist Team Leader to enhance operational procedures.
- To engage with Programme and Operations managers to ensure implementation of contractual requirements and guarantee customer satisfaction.
