**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Environment and Sustainability to join our team at Pratap Partnership. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our environmental and sustainability initiatives, ensuring alignment with our company's mission and values.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide expert environmental advice to our management team, HSEQ team, and project management teams to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sustainability strategy, aligning with our company's objectives and client requirements.
  • Collaborate with our managers to set environmental targets and objectives, ensuring the effective implementation of our sustainability plan.
  • Assist our tenders team in developing environmental, CSR, and sustainability responses to ensure a competitive edge in the market.
  • Ensure the maintenance of our integrated management system, including ISO14001 compliance.
  • Report on environmental, CSR, and sustainability matters to regulatory bodies, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Monitor performance through regular audits and site monitoring, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Develop and review Environmental Management Plans (EMPs) and Site Waste Management Plans (SWMPs) to ensure effective waste management and minimization.
  • Support the development of training packages and briefings to ensure our team is equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to drive sustainability initiatives.
  • Conduct environmental risk assessments and carbon footprint measurements to inform our sustainability strategy.
  • Support statistical analysis and report production to ensure data-driven decision-making.

**Requirements**

  • Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv) certification
  • Full membership of IEMA or equivalent (FIEMA)
  • Degree in environmental sciences or equivalent
  • Construction experience
  • Strong IT skills and practical knowledge of environmental legislation
