Position Overview:

Recra Consulting is looking for a talented and driven Controls Systems Engineer to enhance our dynamic engineering team. The successful candidate will possess expertise in control systems, particularly with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and Schneider technologies. Familiarity with SCADA systems and proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD and EPLAN are essential. This role involves site visits, engaging with clients, and a proactive stance in project management and installations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Implementation of Control Systems:
  • Develop and implement control systems utilizing Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and Schneider platforms.
  • Configure SCADA systems for effective monitoring and control of engineering operations.

Project Management:

  • Oversee project planning, execution, and tracking to guarantee timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Assess project needs and deliver technical solutions that align with client specifications.

Site Installations:

  • Perform on-site installations of control systems, ensuring seamless deployment and integration.
  • Identify and resolve issues on-site, providing effective solutions.
  • Travel as necessary to various locations.

Client Engagement:

  • Foster positive and professional relationships with clients, understanding their requirements and providing appropriate solutions.
  • Deliver training and support to clients as needed.

Team Collaboration:

Engage collaboratively within a multidisciplinary engineering team, sharing knowledge and best practices to drive team success and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Skills:

Completion of an engineering apprenticeship or equivalent experience.

Technical Expertise:

  • In-depth experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and Schneider control systems.
  • Strong understanding of SCADA systems.
  • Proficient in design tools such as AutoCAD and EPLAN.

A valid UK driving license is required.
