Senior Procurement Systems Specialist

Croydon Council is seeking a highly skilled Senior Procurement Systems Specialist to join our Strategic Procurement and Governance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of strategic procurement systems to drive efficiency and effectiveness in our procurement function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain procurement systems to support contract management and e-tendering processes
  • Improve system controls to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
  • Enhance Oracle Fusion system functionality to improve purchase-to-pay processes
  • Make strategic decisions on procurement systems and processes to ensure effective and compliant procurement practices

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in public sector procurement and strategic procurement systems
  • Strong knowledge of P2P and strategic procurement systems functionality
  • Ability to demonstrate change management and project management skills in system development and implementation
