Job Title: Teacher of Digital Technology to A Level

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Teacher of Digital Technology to join our team at St Marys Christian Brothers Grammar School. As a key member of our Digital Technology department, you will be responsible for teaching Digital Technology and related subjects to A Level students.

About the Role:
  • Teach Digital Technology and related subjects to A Level students
  • Contribute to the delivery of the curriculum as outlined in the job title
  • Work effectively as a member of the Departmental team(s) under the direction of the Head of Department(s)
  • Participate proactively in the life of the Department
  • Attend and participate in Departmental meetings as required
  • Set and mark appropriate homework in accordance with the School's Homework Policy
  • Carry out assessment in line with the School's Assessment Policy
  • Maintain good discipline and ensure adequate supervision at all times
  • Set appropriate targets for individual pupils and provide regular constructive feedback
  • General Teacher Duties
  • Carry out duties to comply with current Health and Safety legislation
  • Act as a Form Teacher and to carry out related duties in accordance with the job description of the role of a Form Teacher
  • Attend appropriate meetings with colleagues, parents and pupils
  • Carry out a share of cover supervisory duties as directed
  • Follow all school policies and procedures
  • Participate in CPD
  • Undertake any reasonable duties as requested by the Senior Leadership Team and Head of Department
  • Be active in ensuring the pastoral care of pupils
  • Specific Teaching Duties
  • To teach Digital Technology and related subjects to GCSE
