This role is pivotal in managing referrals for various health services, including mental health and neurodevelopmental support. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the team's operational efficiency, fostering better communication, and expediting response times.

Key Responsibilities

As an Access Services Administrator, your primary duties will include:

  • Engaging professionally with a diverse range of individuals, both in person and over the phone, while recognizing and addressing communication barriers.
  • Effectively directing complex inquiries from distressed clients to the appropriate personnel or escalating them to senior staff when necessary.
  • Responding to service inquiries promptly and taking appropriate actions within established timeframes.
  • Maintaining an organized administrative system to support team operations.
  • Drafting correspondence on behalf of the service.
  • Producing accurate reports and documents from various sources.
  • Working independently to address urgent matters swiftly.
  • Prioritizing and managing your workload efficiently.
  • Establishing and maintaining both electronic and manual filing systems.
  • Typing letters and inputting data into organizational systems.
  • Supporting the telephone rota as needed.
