We are seeking an experienced Supply Demand Planner to join our client based in Wednesbury. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for forecasting demand, planning inventory levels, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts based on historical data and input from sales and marketing teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information and insights to support demand planning activities.
- Analyse inventory levels and sales data to identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Work closely with suppliers to monitor inventory levels, lead times, and production schedules.
- Create and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts.
- Communicate regularly with internal and external partners, as well as suppliers, to provide updates on inventory status, production schedules, and any potential supply chain disruptions.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and vlookups.
- Proven experience in supply chain planning, demand forecasting, or inventory management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm. Salary: £27K - £30K depending on experience.
