Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Junior Financial Accountant to enhance our Financial Reporting team. This role is ideal for individuals at the beginning of their professional journey, offering a chance to grow within a dynamic organization committed to innovation and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements and quarterly management accounts for less complex entities, while supporting larger entity preparations.
  • Coordinate with external auditors by providing necessary information for year-end group accounts and statutory financial statements.
  • Implement and maintain adherence to group accounting policies, with a foundational understanding of International Accounting Standards and local regulations.
  • Conduct reconciliations and analyses, ensuring comprehensive documentation and critical evaluation of financial balances.
  • Ensure compliance with monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting obligations, meeting established financial control objectives.
  • Perform entity-specific analyses and postings within SAP.
  • Foster relationships with regional finance teams, including Finance Directors, to enhance regional reporting services.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure prompt resolution of financial issues.
Qualifications:

  • A degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Experience in a similar role or relevant placement experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Applications, especially Excel, is essential.
