Job Title: Software Developer

Bytes Software Services is a leading provider of world-class IT solutions, with a strong presence in the UK and Ireland. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Developer to join our dynamic development team.

About the Role

We are looking for a talented Software Developer with a strong background in.NET technologies, a passion for coding, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with C#, ASP.NET, and other related technologies, as well as a strong understanding of website security and database management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain applications using C#, ASP.NET, and other related technologies.
  • Collaborate with other developers, QA engineers, and business analysts to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot and debug software defects and issues in a timely manner.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for new and existing applications.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve skills and the development process.
Requirements
  • Degree in a related field (desirable).
  • GCSE A-C in Mathematics & English (essential).
  • Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and.NET Core (at least 3 years of experience).
  • Knowledge of MVC frameworks and.NET API (essential).
  • Understanding of website security (essential).
  • Working with databases (SQL) (essential).
  • Experience of being able to trace errors over the full stack (essential).
  • Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English (essential).
  • Passionate about web technologies with an interest in E-Commerce (essential).
  • An ability to learn quickly and adapt to new software systems (essential).
  • Experience with version control systems, preferably Git (essential).
