Job Title: Contract Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Manager to join our team at Yunex Traffic. As a Contract Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of Traffic Signal Installation schemes across the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the management of multiple service contracts or projects ranging from £10K to £500K
  • Manage a medium-sized team of 'on Street' operatives & supervisors, ensuring H&S objectives, quality, and project delivery timescales are met
  • Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of team activities
  • Work closely with contractors and supply chain partners to ensure efficient and cost-effective services
  • Performance manage and develop team members' skills through setting objectives, targets, and ongoing reviews
  • Collaborate with Commercial & finance partners to manage scheme costs and mitigate financial risk
  • Produce and manage monthly financial forecasts
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders, including Tendering Managers, Regional Sales Manager, and Commercial partners
  • Be actively involved in business improvement initiatives and projects
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in Project Management, ideally in highways, traffic signals, or section 278 works
  • Appreciation of or experience in highways and traffic signal infrastructure
  • Able to read, interpret, and understand construction drawings
  • Understanding of Street works permitting and Traffic Management requirements
  • Good understanding of Health, Safety, and environment legislation/procedures (IOSH/NEBOSH)
  • Management or supervisory experience in a technical position
  • Contract/Commercial knowledge
  • Good knowledge of IT systems/software
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
