Job Title: Field Research Scientist

ADAS is a leading provider of research and advice on agricultural and environmental issues. With over 75 years of experience, we have a strong track record of delivering high-quality research and consultancy services to a wide range of clients.

As a Field Research Scientist, you will be responsible for delivering practical research in a range of agricultural and environmental disciplines. This will involve working on-site to conduct trials, collect and process samples, and analyze data. You will also be responsible for developing specialist technical expertise and delivering knowledge exchange to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site research trials and collect and process samples
  • Develop and implement applied research and knowledge exchange
  • Deliver high-quality research and consultancy services to clients
  • Manage projects to ensure key objectives and deadlines are met
  • Assist with the marking out of studies, application of treatments, and collection and processing of samples

Person Specification:

  • A strong work ethic and willingness to work
  • No previous experience is required, as in-house and external training will be provided
  • A full driving license to drive manual vehicles in the UK is essential
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • A progressive attitude with flexibility and willingness to take on a wide range of challenges
