Maintenance Engineer

Shift: 3 Shift - Earlies, Lates, Nights - Monday - Friday

Company Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at an industrial manufacturer in Shefford. The company has recently undergone a change in management, which has led to the elevation of the engineering team and the implementation of 3-5 year training, progression, and succession plans. The successful candidate will work to reduce production downtime through improvement plans and preventative maintenance plans.

  • When working on the night shift, all lines bar one will be shut down, allowing the candidate to concentrate on PPM schedules.
  • Requirements:
    The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a Production/Manufacturing or Process environment, with the ability to fault find using a multimeter and hold engineering qualifications.
  • Shift Pattern:
    The 3 shift pattern will be Monday to Friday, with the following hours: 06:00 - 14:00, 14:00 - 22:00, and 22:00 - 06:00.
  • Benefits:
    The successful candidate will receive a salary of £45,000, 25 days holiday + banks, private health care, and overtime at 1.5 times the normal rate, depending on when it is worked.
  • Job Tenure:
    This is a permanent position.
