Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team in Shefford, Bedfordshire. As a key member of the maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production equipment and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on conveyors, silos, mixers, and vacuum lifts
  • Develop and implement improvement plans to reduce production downtime
  • Respond to machinery breakdowns and conduct fault finding mechanically and electrically
  • Work on a 3-shift pattern, Monday to Friday, with opportunities for overtime

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment
  • Ability to fault find using a multimeter
  • Engineering qualifications

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary of £45,000 per annum
  • 25 days' holiday + bank holidays

  • Overtime at 1.3 and 1.5 times normal rate
