As a key member of our QA team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality of our product, which is transforming the world of rehabilitation and physiotherapy.
Key Responsibilities- Quality Assurance: Ensure that QA is conducted to the highest possible standard, guaranteeing that our solution operates at the optimum level.
- Test Automation: Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites to streamline the testing process and ensure consistent and efficient testing across software releases.
- Defect Management: Identify, track, and manage software defects using issue tracking systems, collaborating closely with the development team to replicate, investigate, and ensure timely resolution of reported issues.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and UX/UI designers, to gather requirements, provide feedback, and promote a culture of quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and results, to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the software's behavior and performance.
- Quality Standards: Ensure that quality assurance adheres to quality standards and certifications, such as the ISO 13485, to maintain compliance.
- Performance Analysis: Assist the team in performance testing, analysis to identify issues, and address potential bottlenecks, ensuring the software's optimal performance under varying conditions.
- Knowledge and Experience: Solid experience working with frameworks, tools, libraries, and design patterns that relate to test automation, such as NUnit, Selenium, and POM.
- Background in QA: Strong background practicing QA with web/mobile applications, APIs, and backend services.
- Testing Methodologies: Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Test Management Systems: In-depth knowledge of using Test Management systems, such as 'Xray', and understanding of modular test case design.
- Application Monitoring: Adept at using application monitoring and error tracking tools, such as Sentry.
- Databases: Experience working with databases, such as Microsoft Azure SQL, proficient at using SQL for querying and verifying data.
- Agile Methodologies: Experience working in teams that have practiced Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
- AR/VR Experience: Prior experience of QA that relates to AR or VR applications where the physical environment is an integral part of the verification/validation process.
- Quality Standards: Familiarity practicing QA in adherence to quality standards and certifications, such as the ISO 13485.
- Automation Integration: Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.
- Version Control Systems: Knowledge of version control systems, such as 'Git'.
- Performance Testing Tools: Exposure to performance testing tools, such as JMeter.
- QA Metrics: Ability to understand and report meaningful QA metrics using Power BI or similar tools.
- Salary Range: £45K/yr - £55K/yr
- Holiday Entitlement: 25 bookable annual leave days per year, excluding Bank Holidays, plus additional time off over Christmas.
