Job Title: Senior Physiotherapist for Adult Learning Disability Service

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Physiotherapist to join our Adult Learning Disability Service. As a key member of our Physiotherapy team, you will be responsible for providing specialist assessments and treatments for patients with learning disabilities in the community.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Manage a caseload of patients with complex needs, providing specialist assessments and treatments.
  2. Teach and supervise other physiotherapy staff, health professionals, and carers in specialist skills and techniques.
  3. Represent the Physiotherapy team and provide advice to other NHS professionals and agencies.
  4. Assist with training and education for students, carers, and physiotherapy staff.
Requirements:
  1. Diploma or Degree in Physiotherapy and Health Care Professions Council State Registration.
  2. Appropriate post-registration experience and training.
  3. Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
Key Skills:
  1. High level of expertise working with adults with learning disabilities.
  2. Ability to work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team and within the Physiotherapy Team.
  3. Ability to take the lead with projects and tasks.
