We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Business Partner to join our team at Lloyds Banking Group. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing our health and safety standards and procedures in accordance with our guidelines.
You will be working closely with our Property and Business areas to ensure that Health and Safety is seen as an enabler to successful change and people management. Your role will involve building excellent relationships with our stakeholders, including external suppliers, to ensure that they operate in line with our contractual requirements and improve the colleague experience.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement health and safety standards and procedures in accordance with our guidelines
- Monitor and interpret relevant legislation and guidance to ensure compliance
- Conduct accident and incident investigations and implement improvement plans
- Manage and hold to account external suppliers to ensure they operate in line with our contractual requirements
- Build excellent relationships with our Property and Business areas to ensure Health and Safety is seen as an enabler to successful change and people management
- Be inclusive in your thinking to ensure our policies and standards are suitable for everyone
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in health and safety, with a Level 6 Diploma (or equivalent) in a relevant topic. You will also need to be a member of a recognized health and safety professional body, such as IOSH or IIRSM. Additionally, you will need to be comfortable interpreting data and making data-led decisions.
You will also need to be willing to upskill as required to meet our duties and support the business in delivering competent health and safety advice.
