About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at Cygnet Hospital Sheffield. As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our service users, working closely with the Occupational Therapist and multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver group and individual interventions, providing feedback to the Occupational Therapist and Multi-Disciplinary Team.
  • Work closely with the Occupational Therapist to develop and implement treatment plans, prioritizing the needs of service users.
  • Contribute to the assessment and treatment of service users, using OT assessments and treatment in both groups and individual sessions.
Requirements
  • Experience in adult mental health or personality disorder environments.
  • Understanding of Occupational Therapy and the process/interventions.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage highly demanding clinical presentations.
