Forklift Operator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team at Kemp Recruitment. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient working environment in our yard.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Yard Maintenance: Clean, inspect, fuel, and prepare plant machinery, vehicles, and tools.
  • General Yard Duties: Ensure the yard is clean, tidy, and safe at all times.
  • Assistance: Provide support with various tasks around the yard as needed.
What We Offer:

The successful Forklift Operator will have the opportunity to develop their skills and receive training to maintain plant machinery. You must be prepared to work outside in all weather conditions and have the ability to prioritize duties and communicate effectively with customers and fellow staff members.

Requirements:
  • Personal Protective Equipment: Full high-visibility clothing, hard hat, safety goggles, gloves, and work boots.
  • Certification: A valid CSCS card and a Forklift Counterbalance license.
