Forklift Operator Job Description

Our client, a reputable Plant & Commercial Vehicle Dealership, is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join their team at their Eastleigh depot.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Yard Maintenance: Ensure plant machinery, vehicles, and tools are clean, inspected, fueled, and prepared for use.
  • General Yard Duties: Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment.
  • Assistance: Provide support with various tasks as needed.

What We Offer:

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their skills and receive training to maintain plant machinery. The role requires working outdoors in all weather conditions and prioritizing duties while communicating effectively with colleagues and customers.

Requirements:

  • Personal Protective Equipment: Full high-visibility clothing, hard hat, safety goggles, gloves, and work boots.
  • Certification: A valid CSCS card and a Forklift Counterbalance license.
